SYNOPSIS:

Jonathan "Jon" Dearborn, father of two and Marine Corp veteran, was recently laid off by the Department of Economic Security in Phoenix, Arizona and has a job interview for an Office Manager position at the luxury Phoenician Resort. When he arrives for his interview he is mistaken for a famous financial television personality with the same name who hasn't shown up for a presentation to a conference for financial planners. Surprised to be whisked on to a stage in front of hundreds of financial professionals, he nonetheless wins his audience over with his home spun common sense approach to investing in today's market.

In the audience the program head of a rival network to the famous Jonathan Dearborn offers Jon an opportunity to do remote segments from Phoenix on their daily financial program. This sets off the pompous vengeful Jonathan Dearborn to exact a measure of revenge that does not stop short of trying to ruin Jon's reputation and put him in jail. Using all his powerful connections he convinces a "bought" Senator to have Jon testify before the Senate Banking Committee.

Jon's only hope is a retired country lawyer from Arizona and a "secret admirer" providing him information to help prove his innocence. Can truth win out over power?
